Who Are We?

We are Mountingsubstrates.com, an online supplier to the framing, photography, printing and exhibition industry.  We operate from Unit 6 Moulton Park Business Centre, Redhouse Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton NN3 6AQ, UK. We can be reached at sales@mountingsubstrates.com, by post at the above address or by calling 01604 497775.

What data do we collect?  With your consent, we receive the following information from you: Name, Company Name, Business Address, Business Phone Number, Mobile Number, Email Address and if you are a supplier, Bank Details and your VAT Registration Number.

Mailing List with MailChimp:  If you sign up to our mailing list, then we will primarily receive your email address and (if supplied) Name, Company Name, Business Address, Business Phone Number and Mobile Number. This information is hosted by MailChimp and stored by them.  Only Mailchimp Administrators at Mountingsubstrates.com have access.  Mailchimp records other information about you and your responses to our emails such as approximate location, web browser, the date you were added to our mailing list, the date that you edited your preferences and the method by which you were added (i.e. manually added by our administrator or electronically via an embedded web form) as well as whether you opened the email we sent to you or not. On Line Purchase with PayPal and Shopify:  If you use our site to buy goods through PayPal via our online shop that is managed by Shopify, then PayPal and Shopify receive your details along with the amount that you paid and what you purchased.  Some of this information is shared with us. We do not receive your payment card details. Why do we receive this information and how is it used?  We receive this information so that we can complete and dispatch your order. If you sign up to our mailing list, we use your email address (and we may use your name, if supplied) to keep you informed of new products and industry tips on the use of our products and from time to time any forthcoming special offers.

We aim to send between 8-12 marketing emails each year.  If you decide not to interact with us for a period of 18 months you will be permanently removed from our mailing list and we will not contact you again using this method.  Customers are not automatically signed up to our mailing list.

We like to make it easier for you to buy our products and, for legal reasons, there is a minimum amount of information that PayPal requires for this.  Although PayPal will share your email address with us, we will not automatically add you to our mailing list. You must opt-in to this separately.

Who will this information be shared with?  Only our third parties will see the information that you submit (for the above services) pursuant to their own privacy policies.

Other third parties will include couriers.  If you place an order with Mountingsubstrates.com we will pass your contact details to the delivery service to enable your goods to be delivered in a timely manner.  We will not share your information with anyone else.

Your options:  You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time and manage your emailing preferences using the links at the bottom of the emails we send out. You can ask us to delete your details from our mailing list. You can request either of these things at any time by emailing sales@mountingsubstrates.com or writing to us at the above address.
